Pokemon April Fools was a game launched by Google, using the technology created by the Google Maps team to find each and everyone of the wild Pokémon.
Dozens of wild Pokémon have taken up residence on streets, amidst forests and atop mountains throughout Google Maps.
To catch 'em all, grab your Poké Ball and the newest version of Google Maps for iPhone or Android. Then tap the search bar, "press start," and begin your quest.
Places to get started:
A list of Pokémon and their locations can be found on the Sorted by Pokédex Number page.
- For those on iOS, here is a site that lists out all the Pokémon locations.
- For those on Android or other mobile devices, the same site will also help you find all the Pokemon as well. The links will lead you to the locations on Google Maps.
A list of Pokémon Labs (the starting locations) can be found on the Pokémon Labs page.
Pokemon Master Card (not the real one, but you can print it and play!)
I found it at -1.41, -61.57. It doesn't matter where your base is (mine is in roppongi). There are several pre-determined mew in certain areas.
